Data Protection Privacy Notice to all customers

As you are aware from the 25th May 2018 the new GDPR regulations were brought in.  This means that we have to review what data we hold, how the data is used and how it is stored.

About us
Heatrek Refractories Limited operates from the above address and is responsible for keeping information about you secure and safe with access limited to other members of staff.
The Directors will ensure that the company complies with the data protection requirements to ensure that all data is stored and disposed of responsibly.

We collect and use this information to allow us to fulfil our contract with you.  We also use this information for the legitimate interest of ensuring good quality of service to all.

The details listed above are held indefinitely for trade use only and are not passed on, sold or shared with any third party, except in certain circumstances or if required by law, we may need to disclose your information to a third party e.g. law enforcement or government agencies.
We may contact you to conduct surveys or to find out if you are happy with our service.  Our usual methods are by telephone, email or letter.

Keeping Information Safe
We store your data securely on our computer systems and in a manual filing system.  Your information cannot be accessed by anyone who does not work for the company.  They understand their legal responsibility to maintain confidentiality and follow company procedures to ensure this.
We take precautions to ensure the security of the company premises, filing and computer systems.
Our computer systems are backed up and are password protected.

Access to your information and other Rights
You have the right to access any information we hold about you and to receive a copy.

·         Stop using your information – for example sending yearly increase figures or marketing information, you may withdraw consent at any time.
